Marriottsville, MD – Laith Aboarob Killed in Truck Accident on MD-32Maryland Accident News
Marriottsville, MD (September 23, 2020) – Around 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday night, September 22, a 17-year-old boy was killed in a truck accident in Marriottsville.
Police confirmed that the driver of a tractor-trailer was driving northbound on MD-32 late last night when he started to make a left turn onto the I-70 ramp. At the same time, a 2012 Land Rover Range Rover was headed south on MD-32 and collided with the truck continuing onward underneath it.
The driver of the SUV was identified as Laith Aboarob of Clarksville. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.
The driver of the tractor-trailer, who has not yet been identified, remained at the scene of the accident and was not injured.
A portion of the roadway was closed down in the area for a period of time.
Police are working on their investigation into the crash.
