Parkville, MD – Officer Injured in Rollover Accident on Hartford AveMaryland Accident News
Parkville, MD (July 30, 2020) – Around 9 p.m. tonight, an officer was injured in a rollover accident at an intersection in Parkville.
The accident took place at the intersection of Hartford Road and Hiss Avenue when a civilian’s passenger vehicle struck a cruiser carrying a Baltimore County Police officer. The cruiser rolled over, which led to severe damages in the vehicle involved.
Fire crews were dispatched to the scene and had to extricate the officer from his vehicle. He was then transported to the hospital by paramedics for treatment of serious injuries. The officer’s current condition and identity have not yet been released.
The roadway was closed down in multiple lanes in the area of the intersection until police were able to clear the scene.
